Maleny Little Athletics run an athletic competition for children from Tiny Tots to Under 17. Proof of age is required at registration (ie. copy of child’s birth certificate)
3 and 4 year olds may register as a Tiny Tot. Children who are three years old will need to be turning 4 before the end of the season to participate at Maleny Little Athletics.

Children aged 3-4 (sometimes 5) will be in a group called ‘Tiny Tots’. This is a modified program that is designed to develop the children’s fundamental movements of running, jumping and throwing through fun and enjoyable activities. The aim of the program is to improve the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children through a play-based approach that is engaging and stimulating.

Upon registration each athlete receives:

• A registration number—to be attached to the front of the Club Polo Shirt.
• An age label—to be attached as a pocket to the left sleeve of the Club Polo Shirt.
• Sponsors logo’s to be attached to the right sleeve of the Club Polo Shirt. Uniforms can be purchased on club days.
• A result book—in which athletes may glue performance tickets.
• A Centre Handbook—one per family.
